Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to move out of a Lightfoot property? Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate the premises, in accordance with the terms of your lease.

Property Condition

Your home should be returned to its original rental condition before you vacate the premises. Please take care of the following issues.

> Rental Cleaning: Your property should be properly cleaned and sanitized before you hand in the keys. Remove all of your belongings, wipe down walls and hard surfaces, and vacuum/sweep all floors. You'll need to have your carpets professionally cleaned; please provide us with receipts.

> Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you have outdoor space where you routinely handle lawn care and landscaping, please take care of these tasks once more before moving out. No refuse or garbage should be left outside of your home.

> Repairs: Please patch nail and screw holes, repaint any discolored areas, and replace burnt lightbulbs before moving out. If any significant damage occurred during your stay, contact our management team to find an amicable solution.

Security Deposit

Your security deposit will be returned to you as quickly as possible after we inspect the home.

Remember, your security deposit cannot be used to pay your final month's rent.
